JAVA / J2EE TECHNICAL LEAD

“J2EE/Java Technical Team Lead”


Daily Responsibilities:
• 50% Coding + 35% Architecting web applications + 15% Managing the team
• Review/improve/refactor java code written by others using Java best practices
• Lead or managed a minimum of two other Java developers
• Ability to architect/scope/plan/redesign Java applications
• Good leadership skills with solid project management skills to estimate, plan and assign work
• Full software development life cycle -- requirements, analysis, design, implementation, testing, support, etc.
• Excellent software architecture and design skills & solid communication skills to interact with stakeholders

Job Requirements:
• Computer Science Degree or other related computer degree
• 5+ years experience in J2EE and Java software development environment
• 2+ years managing a minimum of 2 developers; including Senior level
• Intermediate knowledge of JMS (Java Messaging Service)
• Expert knowledge in Java, J2EE and SQL programming
• Expert knowledge of Struts, Hibernate, and Spring frameworks
• Expert knowledge of one major database server such as Oracle, SQL, DB2, or MySql
• Expert knowledge with at least 1 major application server such as WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat
Pluses:
• Experience with Liferay Portal
• Experience with website development
• Experience with website architecture
• Managed Senior Java Developers
